Terms of Service
Last updated: March 7, 2026
By using Boundary Playbook, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's fine, but please don't use the site.
This is not medical advice
Everything on this site is for informational and educational purposes. We write about boundaries, communication, and self-awareness, but we are not your therapist, doctor, or counselor.
Our content is reviewed by Dr. Andrea Barthwell, a licensed physician, to check for accuracy. But reading an article is not the same as getting professional help. If you're in crisis or dealing with serious mental health issues, please reach out to a licensed professional.
If you're in immediate danger, call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.
Quiz results are not diagnoses
Our quizzes are self-reflection tools, not clinical assessments. A quiz result like "People Pleaser" or "High Codependency" is a conversation starter, not a medical label. Don't use quiz results to self-diagnose or skip professional evaluation.
Your responsibilities
When you use this site, you agree to:
- Use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not scrape, copy, or republish our content without permission
- Not use automated tools to bulk-download content
- Not impersonate Boundary Playbook or claim affiliation with us
Our content
All articles, quizzes, tools, and other content on this site belong to Boundary Playbook unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to share links. You're welcome to quote short excerpts with attribution. Copying entire articles is not okay.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links to products and services we think are worth recommending. If you buy through one of these links, we may earn a commission. This doesn't change the price you pay. We disclose affiliate relationships on every page that contains them. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
Accuracy
We do our best to keep content accurate and up to date. If you spot an error, we'd genuinely appreciate hearing about it. Email us and we'll fix it.
That said, we can't guarantee that everything is perfect at all times. Mental health research evolves, recommendations change, and we're a small team.
Limitation of liability
We provide this site "as is." We're not liable for any decisions you make based on our content. This includes quiz results, article advice, and product recommendations. Use your own judgment and consult professionals for personal decisions about your health.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
