Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 7, 2026
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit Boundary Playbook, how we use it, and what choices you have. We keep it straightforward because privacy policies shouldn't require a law degree to read.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you sign up for our email list or take a quiz that asks for your email, we store your name and email address. That's it. We don't ask for anything else.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how people use the site. This may include:
- Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
- Your general geographic region (country or city level, not your street address)
- What device and browser you use
- How you found us (search engine, social media, direct link)
We use this data in aggregate to improve the site. We don't build profiles about individual visitors.
Cookies
We use cookies for two purposes:
- Essential cookies remember your preferences, like whether you dismissed the cookie banner.
- Analytics cookies help us understand traffic patterns. You can decline these when you first visit the site.
If you decline analytics cookies, we won't set them. Your experience on the site stays exactly the same either way.
Third-party services
We work with a few external services:
- Google Analytics (or a similar analytics tool) for traffic data
- Email service provider for managing our mailing list
- BetterHelp and Amazon as affiliate partners (their sites have their own privacy policies)
When you click an affiliate link, the partner site may set its own cookies. We don't control those.
How we use your information
We use your email address to send you the content you signed up for. We use analytics data to see which articles are helpful and which aren't. That's about it.
We don't sell your data. We don't share your email with advertisers. We don't do anything clever or surprising with your information.
Your rights
You can:
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link)
- Ask us to delete your data by emailing us
- Decline analytics cookies through the consent banner
- Use browser settings or extensions to block tracking
If you're in the EU or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA. Just email us and we'll take care of it.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you're a parent and you think your child has given us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For anything major, we'll mention it on the site. We won't quietly make your data do new things.
